Structure (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Structure AI App (the “App”) via the Atlassian Marketplace.

1. "Runs on Atlassian" Architecture

The Structure AI App is built on the Atlassian Forge platform. This means that the App’s code executes on Atlassian infrastructure, and data is stored within Atlassian’s cloud environment. By using a Forge-hosted app, your data benefits from Atlassian’s enterprise-grade security and compliance standards.

2. Information We Collect

  • User Information: We do not access or store any user information or PII.

  • Content Data: The App processes data within your Atlassian instance (e.g., Jira work items) to perform AI-driven tasks with Atlassian Rovo APIs. Customer data never leaves Atlassian infrastructure. We never have access to you data for AI purposes.


4. AI and Data Processing

  • Input Data: To provide AI features, the App sends specific content to Atlassian Rovo Large Language Model (LLM). Atlassian is the only AI provider. Customer's data never leaves Atlassian infrastructure..

  • Zero Retention: We do not store or retain any data.

  • Contextual Privacy: The App only accesses the data necessary to perform the specific command you trigger, all inside Atlassian.

5. Data Residency and Security

Because the App is "Runs on Atlassian" certified:

  • Storage: Data is stored in the Atlassian Cloud.

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Atlassian’s encryption protocols.

  • Access Control: We follow the principle of least privilege; our team cannot access your Jira/Confluence content.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since your data is hosted within Atlassian, many of these rights are exercised through your Atlassian site administrator.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Structure AI App (“App”) provided by Structure. By installing the App from the Atlassian Marketplace, you agree to these Terms.

1. License and Scope

Structure grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App within your Atlassian Cloud instance in accordance with these Terms and the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use.

2. The Service

Structure AI provides AI-enhanced organizational and structural project management tools for Atlassian products. The App is "Runs on Atlassian" certified, meaning it operates within the security perimeter of the Atlassian Forge platform.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the security of the App.

4. AI Content Disclaimer

  • Accuracy: AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or "hallucinate." You are responsible for verifying the output provided by the App. The app uses Atlassian's Rovo as the AI engine.

  • Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the input data and the resulting output generated by the App.

5. Fees and Payment

Subscription fees are managed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Failure to maintain an active subscription through Atlassian will result in the suspension of the App’s features.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Structure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profit) arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the App during the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS.” While we maintain "Runs on Atlassian" certification standards, we do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI outputs will meet specific requirements.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling your subscription via Atlassian.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Porto, Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
